Cinder Cone Volcanoes are they most common type of volcano. It is a steep hill that is assembled around a volcanic vent. Cinder Cones range from heights of tens to hundreds meters tall. This type of volcano is formed when a mixture of ash, cinders and bombs pile up around a vent forming an oval shaped cone.

A cinder volcano simply called 'The Volcano' located in British Columbia, Canada is a small volcano in the Coast Mountains. With an elevation of 1,330 meters. The last known eruption is believed to be in the 1800's.
